Instructions

You are welcome to use your notes, textbooks, the class notes and slides, and static internet pages such as Wikipedia and search engines. You are not allowed to use active communication, such as social media, chat, or email.

When you submit the quiz (or your time runs out), you will see a tentative grade. Your grade is subject to change as we assign partial credit for well justified incorrect answers or as we make other adjustments to the questions.

By submitting the quiz, you are agreeing to adhere to the Honor Code. Your submitted exam responses should represent your own work, and you should follow the rules about not using active communication.

Each multiple-choice question has four possible responses. Make sure you consider all four. There is no penalty for guessing, so enter a response for all questions, even if you have to make an educated guess.

There are short essay questions. You should write approximately two paragraphs in response to these questions. You are encouraged to use informal language, but you will be graded on clarity.

For numerical response questions, provide your answer with at least the precision of thousandths (an error of greater than 0.001 will be marked incorrect).

Only registered, enrolled users can take graded quizzes
