Introductions

Assignment

Post a bit about yourself to tell the members of your Writing Group who you are and what you are interested in. You will work with the members of your Writing Group every week for the rest of the course, so take a little bit of time to get to know one another this week.

Assessment

I grade your Discussion work based on completion. Since you are introducing yourselves, I will use these two general questions to decide if your work is Complete:

• Did the person share an introduction with  their writing group that says a bit about who they are and what they are interested in?
• Did the person respond to the introductions of other group members? 

If the answer to both questions is “Yes,” you will earn a Complete (signified by a checkmark in Canvas Grades). If the answer to either question is “No,” you will earn an Incomplete (signified by an X in Canvas Grades). This Discussion is graded after the Grace Period (see the Late Policy tab) ends, and it cannot be revised or completed after the Grace Period.
