- Look through the articles in your annotated bibliography to see if you can find one that has a table or figure that shows MIXING DURING ANALYSIS. That generally means that a table includes both qualitative and quantitative data in a table.
If you cannot find an example in your annotated bibliography, I have put a copy of one article that I wrote with a former student that has a mixing table in FILES (called Resources in Scholar). You can use that to complete the assignment. Here is the reference information for my article:
Creamer, E. G., & Ghoston*, M. (2013). Using a Mixed Methods Content Analysis to Analyze Mission Statements from Colleges of Engineering. Journal of Mixed Methods Research, 7(2), 110-120. DOI: 10.1177/155868981245897
Create a Word Document to up-load to ASSIGNMENTS.
Organize your Response this Way
- Reference Information
- Cut and paste the table into a Word Document.
- In a paragraph
- Identify the qualitative and quantitative variables.
- Explain what analysis was conducted.
- In your own words, explain the major results or conclusions that came from this analysis in this table.
GRADING
Grading will consider the completeness of your answer. The most important factor in the points awarded is if what you have identified reflects mixing during analysis.
