Grace Period Reminder

Group Discussions have a three-day grace period since group interactions need to take place in a timely manner. The grace period for this Try-It ends at 11:59 PM on September 13, 2023.

What You Need to Do

For this first Discussion with your group, introduce yourself and get to know one another.

How This Activity Connects to the Course

You will collaborate on three Major Projects as well as many Weekly Activities in this course. Connecting with your group is crucial to doing well on these projects.

Instructions

In your first post, be sure to mention these things:

• Provide a bit of info about yourself (name, major, hometown, hobbies, anything that makes you YOU).
• Talk about your schedule for the term and how you like to work so that you can begin to coordinate your workflows.

In your second (and additional) posts, connect with other group members and negotiate how you will work together next week, when we’ll have two group Discussions as your Try-Its for the week.

Optionally, you can talk about how to inform one another if you’ll be offline for several days as well as how to connect if someone isn’t responding. Make whatever communication plans you want as a team.
