What You Need to Do

Watch a LinkedIn Learning video (5m 44s) on using documentation in technical reports, and then apply the information from the video as you practice ways of integrating quotations in the body of your Recommendation Report.

This activity reviews when sources need to be documented in your work and explains ways to improve these passages by framing your sources and using strong verbs. You will apply the ideas to some sentences from your report. Once you finish, incorporate the improved sentences in your report.

How This Activity Connects to the Recommendation Report

The video discusses how to use direct quotations and paraphrased material from your research. The related questions ask you to compose sentences that you can later use in your Recommendation Report and suggests verbs you can choose to strengthen your sentences.
