Instructions
You can use your textbook, any notes that you have, and the available course pages in Canvas for help as you work on these questions.
What You Need to Do
This activity asks you to answer a series of questions to brainstorm details for your report’s introduction. These questions come from the “Introduction” section of Chapter 18 of Markel & Selber.
How This Activity Connects to the Recommendation Report
These questions work through the information that you need to include in the introduction to your Recommendation Report. Once you answer these questions, revise your answers into well-organized paragraphs to form the first section of your report’s body. To see an example Introduction section, consult Figure 18.8 in the textbook, the Sample Recommendation Report. The Inttoduction section is on pp. 510–511 of the print textbook.
Assessment
Canvas automatically marks your work Complete when you submit it. All you have to do is TRY the activity. It’s okay if you make mistakes. Recognize however that if you have not put in an effort to do the work, I may remove the Complete mark.
