Strategy Statement

Any company that hopes to be successful in any industry must have a well-reasoned strategic plan. To capture your strategic plan in one simple document, as you prepare your round one decision, please complete and submit the attached statement of strategy. Your instructor will not comment on it before round 1 decisions are due because that would amount to coaching your team, which could give you an unfair advantage over other teams. However, your instructor will refer to these documents in order to better understand and explain the results of each competition round of the simulation. 

Failure to complete and submit this documentation on time will result in a 5% reduction to the group score on the team portion of the simulation assignment.  The "Strategy Statement" is the document you fill out and submit.  The "Six Basic Strategies" is the document you use to understand the types of possible strategies. You read this BEFORE you fill out the strategy document to help you figure out which strategy to choose.  The User Guide is to understand CAPSIM.
