Welcome to the VT Interfaith Online Repository!
Virginia Tech Interfaith Program | Online Repository
This online repository was organized as part of the Interfaith Professional Development Program, promoted by the Virginia Tech Interfaith Program in Spring 2021 in partnership with the Professional Development Network - TLOS and sponsored by a Campus Innovation Grant from the Interfaith Youth Core. Thirty-five faculty, staff, and community members completed the semester-long training program, which aimed to expand understanding of the diversity of religious and non-religious identities to better support students and build competency and capacity to engage in interfaith dialogue and cooperation on campus.
The resources are available in the Files tab, organized by topics:
- Civic Relevance of Interfaith Engagement, Social Change
- Guidelines for Interfaith Dialogue
- Interfaith Leadership, Higher Education
- Professional Application of Interfaith Competences
- Religious Accommodations & Best Practices
- Religious Diversity & Pluralism, Interfaith Literacy
- Research Reports (Interfaith Engagement on College Campuses)
We hope you enjoy reading these materials and that they are helpful in promoting worldview diversity and interfaith cooperation.
The repository was organized by Dr. Najla Mouchrek, Assistant Dean for Interfaith Leadership & Holistic Development (Spring 2021). The instructor team included also Dr. Amanda Armstrong and Laura McCullough. All the works in this repository belong to their authors, we ask that any content be properly cited.
