Drone Use Cases
There are many uses of drones, some which have already been established and utilized for decades, while others have not even been thought of yet. At Virginia Tech drones are becoming widespread across the university, including research, emergency management, construction, photography, and even recreational purposes like drone racing or design competitions. In the near future, drones will likely become an integral part of our society. There is no limit to how far this technology can go, and it will continue to be safely introduced into society as policies are made to incorporate this technology into daily life. Below are a few videos showing some of the drone research and activities being done at Virginia Tech.
