To begin taking DroneEDU, 

UAS Training Course

• Required training course for those wishing to fly a VT owned drone, or fly any drone on Virginia Tech property outside of the Drone Park
• Topics include:
  • FAA Part 107 Regulations
  • Drone Safety
  • VT Drone Policies and Protocols
• A 100% is required on knowledge quizzes for FAA Part 107 Regulations, Drone Safety, and the corresponding quiz for the airspace location you wish to fly
• Upon completion of these quizzes, you MUST email the VT Drone Park to schedule the final onsite portion of the training,  VTdronepark@vt.edu
