Lab Monday 1:25-4:10, Price 221 I. Catalog Description: Principles of techniques for reducing pest levels below those causing injury of economic importance to agriculture and forestry. Course objectives are to present concepts of pest management to enable students to formulate comprehensive approaches to solving pest problems. Emphasis will be on integrated management of crop pests. Appropriate for graduate students in biology, entomology, forestry, horticulture, plant protection and related curricula. (2H, 3L, 3C) I, even years. II. Grading Criteria: Grades will be awarded on the basis of student performance in the first two examinations (15% each), the final examination (25%), laboratory test (10%), the final lab examination (15%), and class assignments (20%).

  • Aeroelasticity

    Aeroelastic phenomena including flutter, divergence, control surface effectiveness, and lift redistribution. Introduction to traditional and modern methods of analysis and remedies for aeroelastic problems of flight vehicles. Pre: AOE 5034 (ESM 5304), AOE 5104, AOE 5214, or equivalent. (3H, 3C)
