Please empty your cache before taking the final exam.  Your final exam may time out unexpectedly if you do not. If you experience technical challenges, contact 4HELP immediately. I cannot help with technical issues, but 4HELP may be able to.

This exam is open book, but it must be completed in one sitting and within 120 minutes. Timed exams begin once you begin the exam and will not be paused if you navigate away from the exam. An unfinished timed exam will be automatically submitted when the time limit expires.

There is no grace period for your final exam. Your final exam must be submitted by the due date (11:59 PM on Thursday, December 19) so that I can turn course grades in on time.

Decide Whether to Take the Final Exam

The Final Exam is completely optional. If you are happy with your points total by the last day of classes, you do not need to take the exam. The Final Exam is worth 500 points. If additional points will move you to your goal for the course, give the Final Exam a try. You cannot lose points in this system.

As a final example, let’s say Test Student still have 6723 total points at the end of the term. She decides to take the Final Exam, since she can move into the C- range if she does well enough. If she does not do well on the Final, her grade will not be any lower.

Assessment

Since this final exam is optional, your grade on this final will be set to zero. If your final exam is not submitted by 11:59 PM on Thursday, December 19, the zero grade for the final exam will stand.

If you take the exam, your final exam grade (and your course grade) will change immediately once you submit your exam.
