Classwork 23 - Final Project Start

Today you will be starting your individual project.

  1. Start by downloading your data set from: think.cs.vt.edu/datasets/python/
  • If you have any questions about your data set, please ask now.
  • You will need to download two files (.py and .db) and place them into your computational_thinking folder
  • Follow the instructions on the page to import the file into Spyder, just like we did with the crime data.
  • Get started on your project:
  • Make sure you understand what you are responsible for: Book - 7.2) Project - Overview
  • If you need help, consult the example project: Book - 7.4) Project - An Example
  • The final project is due Monday, December 5 at 8:00am. Time will fly, get started now!
