What You Need to Do

Read the Strong Subject Lines page, and then apply what you’ve read to the vague subject lines below.

How This Activity Connects to the Course

Subject lines are typically the first things someone reads in a memo or email message. They tell the reader what the document is about and often make the difference between whether someone reads the message immediately or waits until later. Some readers may delete your message without reading it based solely on the subject line. Because subject lines are so important, this Try-It gives you the chance to practice making subject lines more specific.

Assessment

Canvas automatically marks your work Complete when you submit it. All you have to do is TRY the activity. It’s okay if you make mistakes. Recognize however that if you have not put in an effort to do the work, I may remove the Complete mark.
