What You Need to Do
Think about your experiences working with others on projects. You can consider academic projects, workplace projects, and outside group projects (such as projects completed with a club or organization). Choose an experience that is particularly memorable, whether because it went well or it was challenging.
Share a secret to success that you learned by participating in the project you choose by answering the questions below.
How This Activity Connects to the Course
Project management and collaborative writing makes up a large portion of the work in this course. I’ll use your responses to this Try-It to create a crowdsourced list of tips for success that you can use as you work with members of your groups. Groups will be set up by the third week of the course.
Assessment
Canvas automatically marks your work Complete when you submit it. All you have to do is TRY the activity. It’s okay if you make mistakes. Recognize however that if you have not put in an effort to do the work, I may remove the Complete mark.
