Book Citations
Book Citations
Books can also be cited and here is an example of a citation to a book:
Flinn, C. J. (2010). The minimum wage and labor market outcomes. Cambridge, Mass: MIT Press. |
Notice that it has some of the same elements of an article such as author, date and title, however since it is not a continuing publication; it does not have a title of a journal, volume, issue or pages. Instead, the citation contains the location and name of the publisher of the book.
Book Chapters
Another type of citation you can see is a book chapter. Here is an example of that kind of citation:
Hollander, S. (2002). Chapter 3: The canonical classical growth model. In , Competing Economic Theories (pp. 41-66). Taylor & Francis Ltd / Books. |
Notice that has some of the elements of both an article citation with page numbers but also that of a book with the publisher.
