Brain Dump: Communication in Your Field

Goals

• Establish details on what you already know about technical writing.
• Create a basic list that you can build in later in the term as we learn more about technical writing.

The Task

For this activity, write down everything you know about writing and communication in your career field. Your audience for this piece is me (Traci) and yourself (you will return to this list next week). You can write in paragraphs, lists, jotted notes, or any other way that you feel comfortable.  This is informal writing, so don’t worry over spelling, grammar, or punctuation.

Grading Process

When you submit your work, the points will be recorded in Canvas Grades immediately. I will review your answer. If I find that you did not put in appropriate effort or did not do the expected work, I will adjust your grade accordingly.
